Thank you @NCCU Court for celebrating the first day of school with Murray Massenburg Elementary! @DurhamPublicSch
The NCCU Court complete with the King and Queen of North Carolina Central University created this catchy cheer to welcome our students. Our Panthers loved it and so did I! @AKAFerrell_EdD @CoffeySigne
This is only some of the amazing staff at MMES. All I have to say is “WOW”! I am proud and honored to lead this group! #ProwlWithAPurpose

Just 5 days until Murray-Massenburg Elementary School officially opens its doors to the community! Last weekend, the school welcomed students and families with tours and shared a brief history of the dynamic, pioneering individuals the school is named after. #WeAreDPS
So overjoyed to be a part of this dynamic community!
We honored Dr. Rev. Pauli Murray and Ms Betty Massenburg with a Community Tour. Pure JOY poured into our hallways with our students, families, and community members! Great things are happening! #WeAreDPS #ProwlWithAPurpose @BrownMshinda @CoffeySigne

Educator @tikaee's learning community is a well-oiled machine – and Ss are the engineers! 🚂
ALT "I believe there is no better compliment than someone saying your students could run the class without you. My students understand it is our class, not my class. They have as much responsibility as I do. They ask for more as the year goes on." —Educator Tika Epstein
