What if a member of the 1689 London Baptist GA got into a debate on covenant theology and baptism with a puritan neighbor? What if it was published? What if that puritan was John Flavel, and his absolute dismantling of Philip Cary is included in Vol 6 of Flavel's works (Vindiciae Legis et Foederi)?
Unfortunately, Cary's view of the Old Covenant as a Covenant of Works for Justification is not the 1689 Federalist view. Why Hanserd Knollys and others wrote a forward to it, is up for debate. Regardless, the 1689 Federalist position is that the Old Covenant was a Covenant of Works for the promises of land and prosperity.
This leads to much of Flavel's argument falling on a strawman of Cary's own making, regarding justification by faith. However, Flavel's critique of a Covenant of Works after the fall is still one of the best available.
“The one who states his case first seems right, until the other comes and examines him.”

The story of CRBC on Lookout Mountain:
1. The first case that was stated was Nathan’s, and some have said you should listen to the church. The attachments here include everything that was communicated to us and to the church. Listen to the church.

2. The second case was never examined, until now. However, to bring a charge against an elder requires 2-3 witnesses. Here is the Redbergs’ witness to Nathan’s sin:

4. The second case is ours and it exposes the sins of CRBC leadership. Included here is a third witness, Jason:

Conclusion
There are multiple other witnesses, including his church planter and a former elder. The charges are not exhaustive, nor are the witnesses. May this bring justice and truth to light.
“That two ancient companions, theology and poetry—after having experienced a wrenching divorce—might once again discover a mutually beneficial relationship is perhaps wishful thinking. On the other hand, it may be that the divorce was a little hasty in the first place, that it was insufficiently considered, that the two had neglected, for one thing, to think of the children.”

“To the degree you grasp what Jesus did for you, and rest in the salvation he bought for you, to that degree this pattern of substitutionary sacrifice and love will be reproduced in your relationships. And you will become the kind of person the world desperately needs.”
-Keller
The truth of the two resignation meetings with Nathan, our letter to the congregation that was withheld, and our emails attempting to resign. For the first time, members can hear our side, along with Jason's complaint and resignation. God, be merciful.

Officiating a wedding the same weekend my first PhD paper is due for @MBTSDoctoral. Thankfully, @GatorsFB have an easy Saturday ahead of them.
The members of CRBC were told that Rob Clay (Nathan’s co-elder) resigned due to the church not having the funds for two elders. Rob says he resigned due to MAJOR differences in ministry. Why did Nathan and Cem lie to the church?

Why were these two resignation letters withheld from the church? If the church holds the keys, how can they be exercised when a co-pastor (Rob Clay) and members (Louie and Rachel Valdez) are silenced? Maybe they were withheld because of what they said:
