I was curious how Natural Language Search would handle a query I'd normally build with filters.
So I built a small Livewire + Laravel Scout + Typesense demo.
I tried this:
Find ThinkPad laptops with at least 32GB RAM under ₹100000
Traditional search gave me 0 results.
Natural Language Search gave me 11 results.
The interesting part?
I could just describe what I wanted instead of picking each filter myself.
I'd still keep filters for precise control.
But for starting a search, this feels like a much more natural way to begin.

I built Taskavel for my own projects. It fixes a boring problem: hours tracked in one tool, then retyped into invoices in another. Every Taskavel task has a timer, and tracked hours turn into an invoice via Invoicing.to. Free for up to 5 people
