here's a screenshot from the bug, too -- top half is the super-blue" bad" result we're hoping to avoid, bottom half is the "good/expected" rendering.

Similar/worse issues in dark theme on desktop browsers with dark color-scheme, actually -- here's a screenshot of gray text on gray background (entirely invisible):

@Caltrain hi! Website bug for you: schedule is quite hard to read (white text on light gray) with the site's dark theme (activated via user dark-theme-preference in e.g. Android system settings, or browser settings). Issue reproduces in Firefox and Chrome on Android (at least)

Here's a screenshot showing the current rendering (top) and how it looks with the trivial fix (bottom). More details at the github link in previous tweet. Thanks!

@KQED Not sure if anything can be done about it, but FYI: the episode of "Inspector Morse" currently airing on channel 9.2 right now seems to have used a demo version for its closed captioning service, so every caption has the word DEMO randomly swapped in for some of the text
lol; the immediate rendering of that "screenshot" tweet (right after I posted it, while viewing the thread) was *itself* extremely-low-res. Screenshot of that:

(For reference, here's a screenshot of how cuberule.com looks in Firefox & Chrome right now; notice the silly horizontal scrollbars. They're present regardless of window size.)

@Expedia Bug report for you: your emails' "Customer Service" links are currently broken - they redirect through service.expedia.com/ which hits an invalid-certificate error page (the cert is valid for other subdomains but not for the "service." subdomain).

Hmm, looks like the "currently maintains" snippet there might be out of date. That's the ppa whose last update was in August.

Hi @PayPal / @AskPayPal ! Heads-up: both Chrome and Firefox will soon be unable to view your website (nightly versions already broken there!) because you're using a Symantec cert -- see screenshot & blog.mozilla.org/security/20… Please have your devs get a new cert - thanks!

Actually, not fully fixed -- e.sfcu.org is good but its subdomain billpayprod.e.sfcu.org still has a bad (Symantec) security cert. @StanfordFCU would you mind having your developers take a look at that domain as well?
