ALT An Australian historian and researcher has applauded the Karnataka head of the NEP (National Education Policy) task force in India, Madan Gopal. Mr Gopal had recently suggested that it was Indian mathematician Baudhyana who had first put forward the theory now commonly referred to as the ‘Pythagoras’ theorem*. While some say the matter of whether Baudhayana beat Pythagoras to the famous theorem is open to debate, Jonathan J. Crabtree, an advocate for Indian Maths said, “There’s no doubt NCERT* should refer to Baudhayana and not Pythagoras.” Baudhyana is estimated to have lived around the 8th century BC in Bharat (Bharat being the Indigenous name of India) while Pythagoras is said to have lived in Greece around the 6th century BC.

Delhi Court says the language used by Ajeet Bharti regarding Nagina MP Chandrashekhar Azad Ravan invoked caste hierarchy, caste-based notions of purity and the assumed superiority of "upper" over "lower" castes in matters of marriage and lineage.
It says the ingredients of offence under Section 3(1)(r) of the SC/ST Act are, prima facie, made out against Bharti, and he was being denied relief because of the bar against granting anticipatory bail in such a case.

When you are preparing for entrance exams, there is a non-stop ticker at the back of your mind, a constant feeling that when you not studying, you are wasting your time. The stress builds up. And relieved when you get back to your books.
When you start working at a stable 9-to-5 job, and your salary is fixed, that feeling dissipates. Slightly later in life, as your job stagnates, you see people around you growing fast, that ticker returns. You don’t want to waste time. That guilt comes back.
This state of guilt, is the ultimate growth hack, but it comes at a cost. This chronic stress saps you. When you were preparing for your entrance exams, you knew which books to go back to, to neutralise your guilt. The funny thing being an adult is, you don’t even know which books to go for. There is no solution. The guilt stays.

कुछ महाज्ञानी लोग बता रहे हैं कि आरक्षण तब तक रहेगा जब तक जातिगत भेदभाव है!!
मैं जानना चाहता हूं कि जातिगत भेदभाव अगर है भी तो आरक्षण उसका इलाज कैसे है? जातिगत भेदभाव करने वालों के लिए निष्पक्ष कानून बना है, पुलिस है, सिस्टम है, भला आरक्षण से जातिगत भेदभाव कैसे दूर या खत्म होगा? उल्टा आरक्षण तो इस भेदभाव को बढ़ाता है।
किसी एक सीट के लिए कोई बच्चा 200 रैंक लेकर आए तो कोई 2000 और कोई दो लाख!! इस तरह तो वह बच्चा अपने आप को ऊपर मानेगा ही क्योंकि उसने वह सीट अपनी मेहनत से पाई है और उसे पता है कि बाकी लोग बिना मेहनत के आए हैं!!
और अगर आप कहते हैं कि आरक्षण इसलिए है क्योंकि उनके पास संसाधनों की कमी है तो आरक्षण संसाधनों के आधार पर दिया जाए या इससे बेहतर होगा कि आरक्षण की जगह उसे संसाधन दिया जाए। जैसे किसी के पास किताब खरीदने के पैसे नहीं हैं तो उसे किताब दी जाए, उसे लाइब्रेरी दी जाए, उसे फ्री कोचिंग दी जाए और वहां की मेहनत के आधार पर उसे सीट मिले न कि सिर्फ इसलिए कि वह एक विशेष जाति का है।।
जातिगत आरक्षण पूरी तरह बंद होना चाहिए!

The race that wiped out millions out of hatred because Churchill believed Indians bred like rabbits and didn’t need grain in famine. 3 million died. The race that thought it had the burden to destroy indigenous cultures across the globe in the garb of ‘civilising’ them.
But yes! Least racist! Race or religious superiority was never the motivation. Just pure business, I believe.

So the question is, how come Meta platforms allow so many bots to operate and game the system? Unless they want them to. Since they claim they take US elections and meddling in US democracy seriously, does it mean they allow meddling in India's democracy? If so for whom? USA?
