🚨 New OpenAI models spotted? Three new identifiers have surfaced: "aurora-blue-alpha" "aurora-red-alpha" "aurora-green-alpha" Is OpenAI preparing a new model to get ahead of its competition with Anthropic? Astra 6.1 could be one possibility imo are we getting them on day 14?

Day 9/ We've rolled out optimizations to how we store state on disk for the chatgpt & codex desktop app that should reduce the amount stored on disk by 60%. Small ship but we've heard enough feedback about power users running out of disk space.

🚨 Codex Users!!! This is a BIG one. Day 4/28 just dropped. OpenAI made steering nearly instant. Change direction mid-task, and Codex reacts without wasting time on the wrong approach. Plus, GPT-6.1 Sol Ultrafast is here finally after so long Less waiting. More building.

Day 4/ We have improved steering to be instant, leading to the model now reacting much faster to adjustments you make, allowing you to course-correct direction in realtime and not have the model waste effort. Also releasing GPT-6.1 Sol ultrafast. The two work very well together.

🚨Codex Users!!! Day 3/28 ended with a RESET. Tibo says they shipped four things that ranged from good to great, plus some math proofs, but the community vote still came down clearly in favor of reset. So the rules won. The reset has now been processed.

We shipped four things that were deemed good to great and some math proofs, but the vote is clear and the community demands a reset. I did calibrate it and it *seems* that the game is rigged in reset's favor, but such are the rules at the moment. Therefore ... the reset has been processed. Enjoy!
