The Committee on Ethics must now preserve and public release all relevant records.

It's propaganda by enemies of Western democracy.

This explains why Texas separatists, with their totally coincidentally identical “Veteran, Christian, Father, MAGA” bios, have suddenly gone awfully quiet today, right alongside their Quebec counterparts, conspiracy whackos, and Polish anti-EU eurosceptics

In 2024, Nintendo declared war on emulators.
March 4. Yuzu paid Nintendo $2.4 million, deleted its code, and handed over its domain.
October 1. Ryujinx got a phone call. The GitHub organization vanished overnight.
May 2024. Nintendo filed 8,535 DMCA takedowns to scrub Yuzu code from every fork.
By 2026, Nintendo has collected $6 million in emulator settlements.
Every major Switch emulator is dead.
But Nintendo has a problem. His name is Zurdi.
In March 2023, one year before the war started, he quietly built RomM.
RomM is not an emulator. It's a ROM manager. It scans your legally-dumped game files, pulls metadata from IGDB, MobyGames, and Screenscraper, fetches box art from SteamGridDB, and pulls your achievements from RetroAchievements.
Then it lets you play in your browser through EmulatorJS.
Nintendo's own top IP lawyer admitted on the record in January 2025 that this is legal. Emulators only become illegal when they bypass encryption. RomM doesn't. It just organizes what you already own.
9,114 stars. AGPL-3.0. 400+ platforms supported. NES, SNES, N64, Game Boy, GameCube, PS1, PS2, Dreamcast, Genesis, Atari, DOS, arcade, Flash games through Ruffle.
Official apps for Playnite on Windows. Argosy launcher on Android. Grout for muOS handhelds and the Anbernic devices. Sync plugins for RetroArch, Steam Deck, and Syncthing.
Multi-disk games. DLCs. ROM hacks. Patches. Manuals. Tag filtering. Share your library with friends with permission levels.
Made the front page of Hacker News.
Sony deleted 2,000 PS3, Vita, and PSP games from its store. Nintendo took down every Switch emulator in two years. Your digital library was never yours.
Two guys in a Discord server built the museum they can't take back.

It’s a hard life when you prefer short hair most, to long hair. First seven girls I had a crush on had short hair and all ended up being lesbians

i can't stand the double standard, democrats and generally progressive people are expected to be perfect all the time, meanwhile republicans can say whatever the fuck they want and their cattle fanbase will eat that slop and defend them endlessly

Every time mamdani gets attacked by leftists the first thing I’ll see is the extremely exaggerated version of what was done (“he went to a pro Israel rally”) and go “oh shit okay that one’s bad” and then slowly find out what he actually did which was not bad at all.
My dad asked me last month why I’m still renting at 41.
I told him the cheapest decent house around here is about $430,000.
He said, “Then start saving.”
I told him 20% down would be $86,000.
He said, “You don’t need that much. Just put some aside every month.”
So I did the math for him.
After rent, daycare, groceries, insurance and everything else, I’m lucky if I can save $500 a month.
He grabbed a calculator.
$86,000 ÷ $500 = 172 months.
Over 14 years.
He just stared at the screen.
Then he said:
“I put $4,000 down on my first house. Took me less than a year to save it.”
Then he went quiet.
“I honestly thought you were all just spending too much.”
That was the moment it clicked.
He wasn’t trying to be insensitive.
He genuinely didn’t understand how different the numbers are now.
Sometimes people aren’t defending the system.
They just never stopped to look at the math.
Now do you understand that what happens to the least of us happens to us all?
Oligarchs don't stop at Black and Brown people. They want to control and steal from you too. They always have and always did.

So again one of the lead authors of project 2025 was a White man who studied African American history. Strategized cuts of over 700,000 middle class jobs held by Black ppl and is actively sanctioning one of the biggest wealth builders, Black homeownership 😭

jesus fucking christ why isn't this a national story? they can cover twitch streamers for months but a congressional candidate getting raped in a politically charged assault barely cracks the local headlines??
Democrat congressional candidate Bernadette Greene-Placentia was hit over the head and raped in Maricopa County while repairing a damaged campaign sign in August.
"I need to let women know that it's okay to talk about it," she told me.

If the point of having a society isn't" to care for each other, to ease suffering and realize each life's potential, literally what is the point? To hoard wealth? To build empires on other people's throats? Life is brief, nothing lasts. Wealth and empires are pointless violence

When I was born in 1993 our debt was 4 trillion. The boomers have increased it to 40 trillion in 33 years. There wasn’t a war they didn’t vote for or tax dollars they didn’t want to send to foreign countries. History will say boomers were the most corrosive generation in American history.

Do they though?
It is strange how in both Colombia and Brazil the polls all said the Left Wing candidate was going to win.
Then oh the Right Wing candidate has just mysteriously sneaked it.

WE ARE GETTING ABSOLUTELY ROBBED IN BROAD DAYLIGHT.
My coworker tried to move into a basic 1-bedroom apartment last week listed at $1,650 a month.
When the lease arrived, the actual monthly total was $2,120.
They tacked on:
• $150 "Mandatory Media Package" (basic cable nobody uses)
• $75 "Trash Valet Service" (walking 30 feet to a dumpster)
• $45 "Utility Administration Fee" (a fee to process his water bill)
• $20 "Pest Control Charge"
• $180 "Assigned Parking Fee"
When he asked the leasing agent to remove the optional add-ons, she flat-out said: "None of these are optional. They're mandatory lease attachments."
He checked the property management group online a mega-corp backed by private equity that owns over 40,000 units across the country.
They artificially suppress the base rent on Zillow to rank high in search filters, then force tenants into $500/month of unbundled junk fees on the back end.
You aren't just paying rent anymore.
You're paying a corporate subscription fee just to occupy four walls while Wall Street nickel-and-dimes your paycheck to inflate their dividend yields.
