Dear Black Community,
I was outraged when President Trump shared an image depicting Michelle Obama as a monkey. I viewed that as offensive and wrong.
But a UFC fighter calling Michelle Obama a man? That doesn’t trigger the same reaction from me.
Why?
Because the Obamas were among the most influential voices pushing the idea that gender identity can override biological sex. They helped normalize the belief that people can identify as a gender different from the one they were born as.
So when the same framework gets applied in a way they may not like, I’m struggling to understand the outrage.
You don’t get to tell the world that gender is fluid one day and then demand strict biological definitions the next.
Whether you agree or disagree with that argument, these are the cultural rules that were put into motion.
The Obamas helped make the bed. Now they’re lying in it.

I used to like Byron Donalds. I thought he had a bright future in the GOP.
But once I found out about his criminal background, and the lifelong criminal background (including a pedophilia arrest) of a guy he has paid $300,000 in donor I money, he lost my support.
I then learned that he held a rally for Trevon Martin, and still has a George Floyd eulogy on his congressional website in which he claims the police murdered Floyd. He actually uses the word murder.
I also learned that he wanted critical race theory in Florida schools, and that his wife officially pushed for CRT when she was a school board member.
Then I saw that he hardly showed up for work in Congress and was absentee during hurricanes.
An extremely MAGA member of Congress told me, “Florida is not going to like Governor Donald. He is not who they think he is.”
This was all before I found out about the missing millions from his wife's charter school scandal.
Most Floridians don't know the real Byron Donalds. Once they find out, they will run from him.
He is unfit to be governor of any state, let alone one as great as Florida.
And the sad part is that many of the people being paid to push him are relatively new Florida residents who are working to destroy the state by putting him in the governor’s office.

Because never in my lifetime have I seen a political party self-inflict so many cuts that it is destroying itself before our eyes.
The Democratic Party used to be the voice of the people.
It marched for civil rights, stood with unions, and called itself the party of the working class.
Think back to JFK talking about lifting “all boats.”
Think about LBJ signing the Civil Rights Act in 1964, while losing his own party’s South in the process.
Think about the Democratic embrace of the free speech movement at Berkeley in the 1960s, when students demanded the right to speak freely on campus.
That was the left that saw itself as the guardian of liberty.
But today?
The reaction to Charlie Kirk’s assassination has been nothing short of grotesque.
Jimmy Kimmel’s “jokes.”
The snark from blue-check nobodies who built their likes on mocking a dead man.
The casual dismissal from voices that once would have condemned violence against a political opponent, no matter what.
That tells you just how far gone things are.
Friendships have been lost over this.
People who used to argue policy now can’t even share a dinner table.
The divide is no longer left vs. right - it’s basic humanity vs. raw hatred.
Moderates and independents, the very people elections are decided by, are watching this play out.
And they are saying to themselves: I will NEVER associate with these people.
We’ve seen hints of this before.
In 2016, Hillary Clinton’s “basket of deplorables” line pushed millions of voters out of the Democratic tent.
In 2020, riots in American cities went from protests for justice to looting and chaos, with Democratic leaders too slow to condemn it.
Now in 2025, the response to Kirk’s murder has crystalized: the party that once claimed to defend America has turned into a movement that lost in hatred.
That’s not liberalism.
That’s cruelty in costume.
The Democratic message is lost - so, so lost.
If they think moderates will stand by while hate becomes their brand, they’re in for a brutal awakening.
Because this time, America is watching.
And America won’t forget.

You don’t have to mourn Charlie Kirk. Nobody is asking you to pretend you loved him or agreed with him.
But what we are asking is simple: stop being cruel. Stop celebrating his death. Stop mocking a man’s grieving wife as she faces the most heartbreaking days of her life.
Disagree with his politics if you want, that’s freedom. But dancing on his grave, ridiculing his family’s pain, and making a mockery of loss? That’s not freedom, that’s just evil.
At the very least, show a shred of human decency

If I were assassinated like Charlie Kirk, I would absolutely want my friends like @RealCandaceO @TuckerCarlson and @megynkelly who have knowledge of my recent thoughts to speak and to ask questions.
I find the attacks on them abhorrent and very concerning. This wasn't a peaceful passing, he was slaughtered in front of all of us.
