You’re never expected to know everything. It’s better to learn a few topics in depth than a lot of topics superficially 😄

When I started coding a year ago, I did 20-30 min at a time, and that was an accomplishment. As I fell in love with coding, I overcame the impossible and found 2-4 hours a day to code. We all start somewhere. Don’t let someone else’s reality affect yours. #momscancode #codenewbie

If you are a woman in tech && claim to be for the empowerment && upliftment of your peers and colleagues, then hold yourself accountable. Every. Single. Damn. Day. Be mindful of what you say, what you do, and who you associate with. Try to be the role model you wish you had.

I am extremely thankful for the kind programmers out there - experienced and patient ones, and also the curious beginners that join forces to tackle bigger problems. ❤️ And I am also proud of myself for solving issues on my own that seemed too complex. 👩‍💻 Programming is fun! 😎

I am so burnt out at his point in time, Work / Life balance is definitely important and I am gonna achieve it soon.
Stop criticizing developers who don’t devote all of their spare time to coding. Work/life balance is important. Different people have different passions.

Why did we give semicolons and whitespace so much power in programming? Indents are killing me today

Always work for someone who has your back. I just turned down a speaking gig because the organizer suggested I bring a real developer with me to answer technical questions. I AM A REAL DEVELOPER! Thanks @listonb for always supporting me.

A week ago, I tweeted that I was receiving a modest inheritance and wanted to gift 10 people $500 each to impact them in a small way. I received more than 1,500 responses😮 So many in fact, that a new non-profit @projectcoverorg was launched! projectcover.org. Incredible.
