Another successful trial of USV Yellow Tin at Colliford Lake. The USV can autonomously follow survey lines as well as release it's tether, in case of potential incoming danger. Bathy data collection incoming! @Plymmartech @drtimscott
Successful deployment of USV Yellow Pig, using autonomous line following to accurately map sea grass beds. A potential future use for @OfficialPCO to capture sediment movement #CoastChange #AutonomousVehicles @Plymmartech @arbolton2

Successful day with MSc student Ollie, trialling USV Piglet, collecting single beam bathy data along @OfficialPCO beach profiles at Beesands. A cost-effective, safe method for collecting post-storm data. @Plymmartech @drtimscott. Time for a bigger boat! 🌊

Second trial of USV Piglet jetting through the waves at Wembury! 🌊 The low risk, tethered survey method has proven to work through the surf, with an additional self-righting foam top. Now time to build a bigger and better boat! 🚤 @OfficialPCO @Plymmartech @pu_cprg
