My mum is in the hospital and has already spent a lot,
A thief broke into our house last week and stole a couple of important home utensils,
My laptop, bought just 4 days ago, was also stolen.
Thatβs exactly what one of my clients told me in 2024, just in search of a discount.
An offer worth just $69.
It was my early days of trying to sell services instead of building a business.
After all his stories and consistent complaints, I gave him the discount.
The next day, I saw his WhatsApp status showing a new receipt of an iPhone he just bought.
I checked again, again and again,
Is this not thesame dude begging me in dms about not having money?
LMAO.
I checked again, smiled, and learned a business lesson I never read from any book.
Your potential clients have enough to pay for your service, products, or any offer you have.
Not everyone can be your client, and trying to sell to everyone isnβt possible.
To make sure your potential clients pay for your service even without a discount or some marketing hassles, study these:
β’ Is this problem painful enough?
β’ Will my offer be important to them?
β’ Iβm charging my worth, but can they afford it?
β’ Does the perceived value exceed the price?
β’ Does the offer speak outcome, or just more about the price tag?
β’ Are they already spending money on this problem somewhere else?
β’ Can they clearly see the result before they pay?
When all those questions are well answered, and the right strategy is applied, then you donβt need any back and forth.
Your content is good, youβre getting DM inquiries, but your communication, offer creation, and closing skills can ruin everything,
This new week, check all the necessary nuggets before celebrating Happy New Week when thereβs a leakage to be fixed!!
If you can't charge your worth, then you're not confident enough with the value you're bringing to the table.
I once believed sales is a game of number,
Generated over 400 leads and made zero sales.
I didn't cry, just nodded my head and understand it's a game of quality numbers.
If you can learn you can earn.
If you can't learn, you can't earn.
Know and this well before starting any business.
You have 3 currencies.
1. Time
2. Money
3. Knowledge
Use any two to get the other one and you're good,
The choice is yours.
Every time you say,
β’ I donβt have time,
β’ I can't do it
β’ I'm not good enough, or
β’ Itβs too hard,β
Remember that someone else with the same challenges is making it work.
Success is about pushing through, not waiting for easier conditions.

Focus on the product, 0 sales
Focus on their problems, 100 sales.
That's the pattern.

Post flopped?
Post another one.
Client said no?
Pitch another one.
Business failed?
Start another one.
Learn from what didnβt work and keep going.
You never know which attempt will change everything.
What you sell matters,
But how you sell it matters the most,
You can have the best product and still be broke if you don't know how to market it.
Few days ago, I got a question from a random creator on X.
He asked; What's one evergreen skill to learn in 2026?
I didn't said AI,
I told him, Sales and marketing.
Running away from those skills is the reason so many are good at their skills and still make $0.
You can be consistent and still fail.
Consistency is good, very important and needed.
But many forget what they're consistent at,
You can't be consistently working on the right thing the wrong way and expect better results.
