Seniors: Only 2 months of HS basketball left. After the last game, when you realize what the last 4 years, your teammates & coaches have meant, you’ll begin to cherish it. Live in the moment; don’t take it for granted; enjoy the ride. These are some of the best days of your life!

If you get up 1 hour earlier every day, in 1 month you'll have 30 extra hours to get things done.
365 hours over the course of 1 year is a ton of time!
In 12 months, you could read 50 books, master a sport skill, publish your own book, or be in the best shape of your life.

✍🏼2027 6’1” F Kiri Faimanifo (@KiriF_bball) (Gladiators) does a lot of damage in the paint but can also stretch the floor wonderfully & hit from 18 feet+. Excellent mobility & endurance. She backs the defender down & imposes her game. Problematic length; shot-blocker.

A coach's most IMPORTANT JOBS:
1. Culture creation
2. Culture Maintenance
Your culture is only as strong as what you tolerate.
Before you can build VALUE you have to have TRUST. Players don't care about your resume as much as they care about how much you care about them, separate from their performance on the floor.
Joe Mazulla eloquently speaks on this 👇

Gortat vs Drop- Paris
Textbook Gortat's:
-force the over on-ball
-get the roll man ahead of the ball (hostage & hold if needed)
-seal off x5
