Gov Abbott says he wants to lower property taxes and Democrats want to raise them in a recent ad.
1. Abbott says this is a problem 43 days before the election when he has been Governor for the last 12 years.
2. Local governments have dozens of unfunded mandates from the State which if funded could reduce property taxes.
3. The State could make a larger contribution to funding public schools this would significantly lower property taxes.
4. Reducing local property taxes affects police and fire and other essential services.

He was driving with another U.S. citizen to enlist in the Marines when he was pulled over and ripped from his car by ICE.
Someone started recording.
This is the horrific video.
While the boys were being beaten, they repeatedly tell the agents they are CITIZENS — and are ignored.
One agent told said, "I don't give a damn. Your parents can't help you now."
Both teenagers were detained for hours before being released.
They were preparing to serve this country - yet their citizenship did not protect them from being beaten, pepper-sprayed, and detained by their own government.
This is what the Nazis did then, and ICE does now.
