“I never can pull balls with true backspin” We can fix that. This has been one of my favorite ways to use the Farm Board max. Open 45, then close the gap, leverage the front side, pull against the front hip, etc. Learn how to move from the middle. 👉🏼bit.ly/FBLvl2Max

Food for thought. Amazing what you can find when you look at it through a different lens.

Take a look at this thread! Pitch counts only tell a very small part of the story. • There are alot of people who need to read this!!!

I went from throwing 73 mph at 16, to a D1 walk-on, to a 15th rounder, to throwing 98 mph. Here's a letter to my younger self, covering the top 10 lessons I've learned since being a high school pitcher.⬇️ [Thread🧵] 1/

Coaches, what is your most memorable coaching experience? Mine was our first tournament win in 2003 and I got the Gatorade shower from my players. What say you?

Had the pleasure to listen to Coach Fenster @CoachYourKids at @ABCA1945 and @USABaseball a couple of times now. Top shelf stuff from this guy. If you’re looking to improve your outfielders, have a look at his presentation.

For all who asked for it, below is the dropbox link for my presentation, Isolating The Outfielder. With a ton of drill videos included within, the file is huge and can only be opened on a computer. Any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out. Enjoy! protect-us.mimecast.com/s/7-…

This is why we do it … It’s less about the outcome, and more about providing opportunities for the kids we have a chance to impact.

Here’s a good visual I use with my hitters to cue them and give them feel/feedback on contact points at various parts of the zone. This will vary based on height/limb length but the point is pretty simple. Green is 😎, yellow is 😐, red is 😬. (Layout for RHH)

So important for young players to remember that the best players at 12 aren’t always the best players at 15! The best players at 15 are not always the best players at 18! Get to work and make yourself a better player!!
