Stepping up from @USL_Academy to @USLChampionship 🪜✍️
We are thrilled to announce the signing of 18-year-old Lexington native Brady Stockton to a USL Academy contract with our USL Championship squad.
Stockton has played the entirety of his youth career in Lexington, eventually signing with the @LSCyouth U-20 USL Academy in 2024.
He is allowed to train and compete with the first team, as well as feature in the squad on USL-C matchdays, without forfeiting his NCAA eligibility.

Absolute shame that @Verizon charges for a full month of Cellular service. Service always coming and going. Poor customer service!

I was most struck by what Balogun said about his reaction to the red card.
“There are lots of people we’re inspiring, boys and girls watching, you have to show them the right way to handle things,” Balogun said. “Even when you think it’s unjust.”

Don’t agree.
There are rec/pickup levels of sport for all stages of life.
It’s the desire to play “the best” level over the humility and acceptance of just finding an enjoyable level that’s hurting many kids and parents who aren’t the best.
If you want enjoyment, prioritize it
“Millions of kids" are falling out of love with soccer due to a prioritization of competitiveness over fun.”
