Winning is not in your control. It’s is a natural consequence of being a great competitor. Average competitors win less because they get too fixated on winning and too undisciplined in how they compete.
The hardest thing for an average competitor to understand is that great competitors don’t focus on winning. Winning is their goal, it’s the end target, but it’s not their focus. Great competitors win more because they are ultra disciplined in how they prepare and how they compete, which leads to the natural consequence of a lot more winning.
