"He always asks questions. Watches film. You walk into the meeting with the LBs and his scooter's parked right outside of there."
Rasheem Biles said today about freshman LB Kosi Okpala.
"He wants to be on the field, he wants to play, and whatever phase he can play, whatever he can do to help the team, he can do it. He's not a selfish person. Big shout out to Kosi, for sure."

#Texas EDGE Colin Simmons with some high praise for freshman Kosi Okpala:
"Talented, athletic as hell," Simmons said.ย "He makes plays. Still young, still young. But he got it. Once he put two to two (together), he got it."

Another problem w over constraining. Youโve isolated one variable and bc youโve stripped the context of the game (the OL in this case) youโre training bad eyes. He now has to transfer his eyes from ball to OL, when beating OL is the entirety of his job

I know the challenge ahead, and Iโm embracing it. Weโre committed to building a program rooted in relationships, discipline, accountability, and belief. The work has already started, and Iโm excited to serve our student-athletes, coaches, school, and community.
Looking forward to writing a new chapter together.
