This is a HUGE No-No. You cannot hold hands crossing the finish line. Could be a DQ for both runners at sectionals with more officials. Celebrate after you finish. It could cost your team a trip to state with this infraction.

Distance running takes special athletes as races are mentally and physically challenging. It is a team sport characterized by its individualism. Have pride in what you have accomplished and work together to push each other to be better. The future is bright! @athleticswvhs
