SCFCA presents its annual PALMETTO CHAMPIONS.
The 2025 Palmetto Champions include the Offensive, Defensive, Special Teams, Lineman, Assistant Coach, and Head Coach of the year for each of our ten SCHSL classifications.
A big shout out to all of the coaches who take the time each week to nominate their players. It's a great way to acknowledge the dedication they put forth for their school communities.
Thanks to our Classification Directors for taking the time away from their own programs to make this happen:
5A US - Chris Liner 5A LS - Neal Smith
4A US - David Crane 4A LS - Chris Hamilton
3A US - Grayson Howell 3A LS - Amondre Johnson
2A US - Corey Fountain 2A LS - Eric Bendig
1A US - Andrew Campbell 1A LS - Shaun Wright
Plaques for each of the Palmetto Champion award winners are provided by Healy Awards and Decals and will be available for pickup at the February Winter Clinic.
We hope to see you tomorrow morning at the SCFCA Hall of Fame Induction Breakfast followed by the North/South All Star Game....at The Beach!

Some strength coaches at @CofCBasketball told Adam Comer--"you could play football".
Comer, who worked his way up from walk-on to valuable reserve had more in the tank.
He entered the transfer portal. For football.
Some asked if it was a mistake.
@CitadelFootball asked if he wanted to be a Bulldog. Here we are, with the new 6'9 Citadel "Bandit" and possible tight end.

HOW DID HE DO THAT?
Mid 4th quarter, Tyquan Booker comes around the end, cuts it up field, somehow, runs through 3 Wildcats defenders and keeps on trucking for a 38-yard touchdown, his 4th of the night, Broome leads 48-41.

My why in a single picture. Seeing guys grow and come back home to pour back into the next generation and the community that raised. THIS is what makes coaching, high school sports, and Broome so special. Brothers for life. Literal hometown heroes. #youaremorethanajersey
We had a time today at @DMarcojackson20 1st Annual Youth Camp. Having guys from the collegiate and NFL level taking time out their day to pour into the kids and young men was great to witness and be apart of.
What a day! @Broome_VB, your committee, and SGA did such an amazing job! #ConquerandPrevail
What did you do today? Our students SERVED OTHERS! Just a snippet of SO MUCH MORE that Broome High School students did today by serving our community! More pics to come! #LegacyDay2024 #LeaveaLegacy #ConquerandPrevail
