Backfire Effect If someone believes 2+2=5, showing them evidence that 2+2=4, leads to them remaining more steadfast in their belief, than before you showed them. Processing corrective evidence as an attack, and responding in a defensive manner. 🤔

Dabo Swinney was asked tonight if he’s allows himself to feel some of the external pressure. “God’s on the throne. Football don’t define me.” Swinney’s faith defines him, and it allows him to never lose that inner peace. “God never says oops. It’s what I believe. Just keep going.”

Celebrate the victory. Don’t become satisfied by it. One emotional win cannot become the destination for a team with bigger goals. Enjoy the moment. Then raise the standard for what comes next.
