Show of hands how many college coaches have ever had this phone call before:
Hour before practice player who works with the F.D. Calls:
(He’s in the fire truck sirens blaring) “Coach I’m not sure I’m gonna make it to practice on time but I’ll try”
We love our first responder!

Foot down, then throw. The feeling we’re searching for.
Allow your delivery to happen, get to a strong position at foot strike, then bring down the house.
Stay sideways as long as possible.
Rhythm before foot strike & violence after. Rotate late, be patient.
