As the calendar shifts closer to November, I’m always appreciative of preseason coverage and the excellent job media does to cove our sport of college basketball.
But I’m also old school: The only polls in October that ever really mattered to me are the ones with flags on them to say the pledge of allegiance.

What no one ever tells you about getting older is the taking care of your aging parents and kids simultaneously, while dealing with your own “Why is this sore and I didn’t do anything to make it sore?” part that slowly creeps up and arrives without warning.
Every life experience, negative or positive, creates a chance to choose how view things in life: A bad break, a lost job, a diagnosis unkind; Your choice of view matters.
What remains true:
A focus on product creates anxiety.
A focus on process creates progress.

Genuinely appreciate all the media, discussion & positive attention toward @OleMissWBB & women’s basketball at large.

Listening to critics of selections in the WNBA and NFL Drafts or recruiting in college is a reminder there’s a lack of understanding people making decisions on roster construction generally have more information on situations than the critics.
Rivalries are rivalries, but there are more things important than a final score of a game.
