“We are what we allow”
Leaders need to recognize that if they allow a behavior, they are endorsing that behavior. Leadership is not what you say. Leadership is what you accept. #LeadershipDevelopment

Spot on!
PLAYERS: When coach doesn't play you, they aren't disrespecting you or hating on you. They may just be respecting your teammates and loving the team. Good coaches play the players who make up the best team and who are the most trusted team members. Be that kind of teammate.

Drink sums it up perfectly! ⚡️If you deprive people of adversity, you deprive them of growth. 🔑Young people must face adversity if they are going to be prepared for life!

DO YOUR JOB “One of the things I liked most about working for you,” Saban said to Belichick, “I knew exactly what to expect [and] what you expected from me. I worked other places and that was never, ever clearly defined. It’s amazing to me how many people work with or for someone and it’s just assumed that they know what you’d like them for them to do. I thought that whether it was the players that we brought to the team, the people that worked in personnel or whatever, you defined for them and then you let them do their job.”

Talent gets you there. Process keeps you there. Nick Saban said it best: “You must focus on the things that have made us good all season long.” Championship teams don't chase the moment. They live the process. 🎥 Watch the clip.

Dabo Swinney was asked tonight if he’s allows himself to feel some of the external pressure. “God’s on the throne. Football don’t define me.” Swinney’s faith defines him, and it allows him to never lose that inner peace. “God never says oops. It’s what I believe. Just keep going.”

This is the accountability that’s gone away in the game. Thankful Ron was always true to staying with his beliefs. Need more of this in today’s game! Kids need it more now than ever. #TruthBomb
Ron Rivera explains why he once refused to start Cam Newton over a missing tie: “Players want direction. Second, they want consistency. If you’re consistent, you treat everybody the same and do things the right way with them.” “It’s got to be fair. Cam didn’t have a tie. So I treated him just like I did everybody else, and I couldn’t start him.” “Greg Hardy didn’t have a tie. I didn’t start him. That was the rule.” “When the news broke that it was over a tie, people didn’t believe me. Cam wanted to play, but he took it the right way.” “I told him, ‘You won’t play the first series.’ Our backup quarterback threw an interception on the first play. Cam ran over and said, ‘I’m in next series, just like you said.’”
