The IBCA expresses our condolences to the family and friends of Coach Tim Bankston.
Tim Bankston was found fatally shot on the South Side this morning.
Bankston, the high school basketball coach at TF North in Calumet City, was a Chicago basketball legend and a teammate of Ben Wilson at Simeon in the 1980s.

It was great to connect with Saint Joseph HS and two time Duke NCAA national champion Marty Clark at our NHSBCA meetings this week in Denver. Marty was an outstanding player for the legendary Coach Gene Pingatore in the late 1980’s.

Saint Ignatius with a great mention!
It’s only July. The season’s first practice isn’t for nearly four more months. But based on summer performance, what teams are top-10 material right now? What others are eying preseason top-10 status? Who caught our eye this summer? chicago.suntimes.com/high-sc…
