There are now 1,650 total D-1 players who have entered the portal.
My guess is about 100 of them are walk-ons.
That means about 1,550 scholarship players have already entered the portal - of about 5,000 total.
And about 1,300 or 1,400 of those 5,000 are out of eligibility.
So that’s about 1,550 out of around 3,650 already in - which is 42 percent.

With his 5 points and 6 assists in the @IdahoStateMBB opening season win on Tuesday, Jamison Guerra made history as the first-ever player from @SherwoodBBX to play D-I basketball.
Guerra is using his final year of college eligibility after a standout career with @OITMBB.
