Just such a tragic loss to the Tennessee basketball community… Ben Dotson loved everything about basketball from the competition to the relationships. He could make you mad and laugh in the same conversation… Lol We had some amazing battles over the years from my teams at Wilson Central and Oakland while he was the head coach at Siegel High School. I used to love his comments and jokes he would send me over text during my basketball season after he retired… He had a great way of keeping you upbeat and positive. He had a very witty sense of humor and loved poking the bear. Over the years since we both retired from coaching, we still kept in contact and talked about the good ole days of coaching and just caught up on life. Reminiscing about past games, coaches or players was a constant. Rest in peace Ben Dotson…Blessed to have had you in my life. Love ya brotha🤘🏼 & prayers for his family. wgnsradio.com/article/101535…
