One of the most impressive, kind & outgoing people I have ever met. Your influence in the community, with the people you worked or coached with, and the young men you coached is unmatched. Absolute privilege to coach with you, learn from you, and call you a friend. Rest easy Vrz.
Former #Huskers Matt Vrzal was a pillar in the Omaha community. He was the owner of Piezon's Pizzeria, coached football at Omaha Skutt and was a popular guest on numerous sports talk radio shows. ketv.com/article/sports-nebr…

The Importance of Nothing.
By Nick Saban.
If you wake up in the morning and you feel entitled, what would that get you? Nothing.
If you think somebody owes you something, what would that get you? Nothing.
If you lose your discipline and your work ethic, what would that get you? Nothing.
If you fail to prepare and pay attention to detail, what would that get you? Nothing.
NOTHING is more important than staying focused on being the best you can be no matter what you choose to do.

Recommendation
Players and parents looking for greener grass.
Fertilize the grass you're on and it will become the greener grass.

Went up to the field this morning to check on the field…As I’m walking down I see ‘23 grad Max Heard picking up every ounce of trash on the field…Character matters and this guy has it. The things you do when no one is around says a lot. Thank you Max!!

“If you want to be good, you really don’t have a lot of choices because it takes what it takes. You have to do what you have to do to be successful. You have to make choices and have the discipline, focus on the process of what you need to do to accomplish your goals,” Nick Saban
