What a fun and busy 2021-2022 school year this has been ✴️ We are in virtual mode this week in hopes everyone is on the mend! Can’t wait to see how creative our students get this week with our at home P.E. Challenges🐊 💪🏼
💫 We had a fun “May the Fourth Be With You Day” as we teamed up with our Science Lab teacher for a fun collab for our students-video to come! 💫
Today is National Look Alike Day! Who is your twin!? Our students may never get our names right bc they can’t tell us a part, especially today 😂 👯
It is really starting to warm up and we are very fortunate to be able to have access to so much water around us! Today, we went over some water safety tips and played a game called “Life Savers” to reiterate one of our tips! Check out some our sweet Kindergators! 🐊💦☀️🏊♀️🚣♀️
Teacher Pay Teachers has the cutest characters that are on display for this upcoming Black History Month! I found it fitting to use prominent athletes in our gym for a fun spin on highlighting this great topic!
I love when students leave me artwork and sweet notes, you never know what you’re going to get sometimes...and today’s gift is...THIS 😂 😷 Love these kiddos!
Working on getting some special stickers, if not floor tape to mark off socially distant standing spots in the mask break zone in my gym. Students use this area when needed and it’s been cool to see them take this responsibility on their own in a safe way during activities
Along with Air hockey in crossing our midline, my Kindergators played some frisbee toss too 😎 I love using the soft, foam frisbees with this age
Forgot to post my winter/Christmas theme stations from my K5 P.E. room. I’m very fortunate to have a place for these students when we can’t go outside! I have a gym and outside area for my 1st-6th graders and for that I am very grateful too!
Here’s our version of Air Hockey with our Kindergators🏒 Through this activity we talked about our “Midline”, which is an imaginary line down the center of our bodies that divides the body into our left and right side and why crossing our midline and is so important to learning
