Football is America’s game. Not because of the stadiums, or the newspaper articles, or the highlight reels, or the NIL deals. Because of what happens on a Friday night in a small town where the whole community shows up. The diner closes early. The gas station lot fills up with trucks. The band plays in the parking lot before kickoff. Grandparents are in the top row wrapped in blankets. Little kids in oversized jerseys run around under the bleachers dreaming about their own Friday night someday. It’s about a community finding itself once a week. And right now, when it feels like this country is divided on just about everything, a Friday night still has the power to bring all of it together. Different backgrounds, different beliefs, different everything. But for a few hours under those lights, none of that matters. Everybody is on the same side. Everybody agrees on one thing… This is the best game on Earth and there is nothing like it. 250 years of America, built by people who showed up for each other. If you know football, you know exactly what that looks like. It’s not about individuals, who gets credit, just making sure that the entire team can succeed and it takes what it takes.
