BOOM: Natasha S Alford shows us how to effectively refute the gaslighting tactics used by Republicans regarding racism in America and their tendency to dodge addressing the real issues.
Natasha effortlessly challenges Scott Jennings.

While I get the championships argument, this is brutal from Jay Williams saying heās āunwillingā to call Caitlin Clark greatā¦ ESPECIALLY bringing up Kobe as a reason
Thereās not a doubt in my mind Kobe & his family would have been there in person to see Caitlin break the record

MY ANNUAL PLEA TO THE NCAA:
If the Super Bowl can kick off at 6:30pm ET, why on earth does the NCAA Men's Basketball Championship Game not tip til 9:20pm ET?
Wanna hook in a new generation of fans? Make the game at a time when they can stay up to watch it.

This is exactly why there couldn't have been a worse year for both U-M and MSU women's hoops to only play Iowa once this year on the road and not at home. Breslin and Crisler would have been sellouts

A gross distortion of my fatherās beliefs on equality; a horrible misuse of his image to oppose something he pressed for:

ā¼ļøWhy Kids Quit Sportsā¼ļø
70% of children are dropping out of organized sports by the age of 13.
5 main reasons:
1. Itās no longer fun.
2. They have lost ownership of the experience.
3. They donāt get playing time.
4. They are afraid to make mistakes.
5. They feel disrespected.
Thereforeā¦it is our obligation as coaches, parents, and adults to:
1. Create life-giving experience.
2. Instill a āGet to vs. Have toā mentality.
3. Set up value system not based on playing time.
4. Encourage riskā¦āIf you arenāt making mistakes, you arenāt doing anything.ā
5. Love BIG!

We need re-capture the gift of sport:
1. Go after the hearts of the kids we serve.
2. Create a joyful space for them to be free to Fail-it is win or learn culture!
3. Use the experience to teach a way of life that transcends the game.
4. Breathe life into who they are becoming!

Navy SEALs have a saying.
You may find it helpful.
When something sucks, they look at each other and say:
"FULL BENEFIT"
Itās an instant mindset shift.
ā¢ Hiking and it starts pouring rain?
ā¢ Driving and your car breaks down?
ā¢ Working on a project and lost a draft?
FULL BENEFIT.

LESSON: Adversity is an opportunity
The message is simple.
Every adversity is an opportunity.
ā¢ To grow
ā¢ To learn
ā¢ To evolve
ā¢ To get stronger
ā¢ To become better
These moments forge us if we let them.
The next time you're facing something hard, welcome it.
Work through the process.
Learn the lessons.
Reap the full benefit.
