10 Inconvenient Truths of Coaching
1. Not every kid wants to be great.
2. You will often be misunderstood.
3. Some parents care more about playing time than team success.
4. Your best players aren’t always your best leaders.
5. No system works without buy-in.
6. Success brings criticism, too.
7. Culture isn’t built in a week, it’s built daily.
8. You can’t coach every player the same way.
9. Wins don’t always reflect your impact.
10. The job takes more from you than it gives… until years later.
Still worth every second.
Still a great profession.
Yo @Pirate_Parrot I saw what the @Pirates were offering for the Skenes 1/1
My boys (10 and 6) and I just ripped this today !!
We know what we have here.
Let's talk business

There are 3 kinds of athletes.
1) All in! Show up early, work hard, communicate with coaches. Outcome: Coaches and teammates trust them to get the job done on the field. Most likely to earn a high level of playing time if athletically capable.
2) Show up sometimes. Typically late. Communicate after the fact. Outcome: Coaches aren’t always sure what they’re going to get from them, so this impacts playing time.
3) Missing in action. Don’t show up, don’t communicate, no good reason for missing. Outcome: They eventually get passed by players who are committed and dependable. Typically are cut or quit the team.
Which one are you?

Any of My MI Boys coaches know of anyone looking for a game ?
1) it has to make sense for us. MPR and Seeding is a big deal for us at the moment. prefer to play someone with a strong record. So we both would get an MPR boost, W or L
2) We must get the game in by Feb 15th
