Blessings to Coach Ditka. A wonderful man especially with @Gridiron_Greats and all the people he supported in his life. I’m honored to have met him a few times and work a few events with him. He was the toughest guy in the room! RIP Coach!

More people need to recognize Kareem’s tenure with the Bucks. Won three MVPs and a championship in Milwaukee and everyone acts like he just went straight from UCLA to the Lakers.

Joe Delaney passed away at age 24 while trying to save two young boys from drowning. Terrific running back, gone much too soon. As this NFL season gets underway, let’s take a minute to remember a man who gave away all of his tomorrows trying to help some strangers. #RIP

Matt Suhey passed away yesterday. He was my dad’s closest friend. After we lost my dad in 1999, Matt became the biggest father figure I had. When everything felt uncertain, he was there. My dad left him in charge and Matt never let that responsibility sit lightly. He protected our family. He looked after us. He made sure we were okay, year after year, without ever making it about himself. That is who he was. Their friendship showed me what real friendship looks like. Not the easy kind. The kind that lasts when the lights go off, when the stadium is empty, when life gets heavy. Brian’s Song told the story of Piccolo and Sayers. Somebody needs to tell the story of 34 and 26. Two men who trusted each other completely. Two men who became brothers. I know @walterpayton was standing there waiting for him the second he got to heaven. I can see it. That smile. That hug. That reunion they both deserved. Our family is so thankful for the love he showed us over the years. The Payton family will continue to lift Donna, Joey, Allison, and Scotty up in prayer during this difficult time. Rest easy, Uncle Matt. We love you. We always will. 🙏🏽🐻⬇️ #Bears

Was great to see The Sunshine Scooter this evening in Orlando. I had an appearance with the folks at the @CitrusBowl and had a great conversation with @AndyStaples And coach wanted to come say hello when I landed-I said “of course coach, would love to see ya-can I get ya a ride over?” He said “forget about it-I’m driving over”. I said “coach cmon man, noway you’re 91 you’re not drivin over”. Needless to say I lost that battle. He drove over through a thunderstorm and we spent some time together. Was SO GOOD to see him and share a few laughs and get some advice that he can only provide. He looks and sounds amazing! Love ya LC!!

Super Sky Point to Don Nelson, a 5x champ as a player and 3x NBA Coach of the Year. From his rookie year with the Chicago Zephyrs - I said Zephyrs - in 1962 through retirement in 2010, he never missed a season. I’ll remember him best for coaching sharp-dressed 50-win Bucks teams.

From a scouting perspective, Peter Boulware was one of the most complete edge defenders of his generation. He possessed the combination of explosiveness, length, bend, power, and relentless effort that NFL teams look for in a premier pass rusher What separated Boulware from many edge prospects was his ability to translate elite athletic traits into consistent production. He could win with speed around the corner, convert speed to power, set the edge against the run, and finish plays once he got into the backfield His first-step quickness and closing burst consistently put offensive tackles under pressure and forced offenses to account for him on every snap. At @FSUFootball , Boulware developed into one of the most dominant defensive players in college football. He finished his career with 34 sacks and became a nightmare for opposing offenses because of his ability to create negative plays and disrupt the pocket During his senior season in 1996, he led the nation with 19 sacks while adding 20 tackles for loss and seven forced fumbles. His production, athleticism, and impact on games made him one of the most feared pass rushers in the country and one of the top prospects in the 1997 NFL Draft Peter Boulware Testing Numbers: 🔹 Height: 6’4⅛” 🔹 Weight: 254 lbs 🔹 40-Yard Dash: 4.76 🔹 10-Yard Split: 1.66 🤯 🔹 Vertical Jump: 34” 🔹 Broad Jump: 9’10” College Accolades: 🏆 Consensus All-American (1996) 🏆 ACC Defensive Player of the Year (1996) 🏆 First Team All-ACC (1996) 🏆 National Defensive Player of the Year Honors (1996) 🏆 Florida State Hall of Fame 🏆 National Champion (1993) The Baltimore Ravens selected Boulware with the 4th overall pick in the 1997 NFL Draft, and he immediately validated that selection He recorded 11.5 sacks as a rookie, earned NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year honors, and quickly became one of the cornerstones of one of the league’s most dominant defenses. Throughout his career, he consistently pressured quarterbacks, played with tremendous effort, and provided the type of edge presence that offenses had to game plan around every week. NFL Accolades: 🏆 NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year (1997) 🏆 4× Pro Bowl Selection 🏆 Second Team All-Pro (1999) 🏆 Super Bowl XXXV Champion 🏆 Baltimore Ravens Ring of Honor 🏆 Finished his career as the Ravens’ all-time sack leader 🏆 70 Career NFL Sacks
