In disbelief at the discourse over what people are saying today about Kalen DeBoer’s reaction to Dijon Lee after the punch.
Have this many people on CFB twitter not been around or played organized sports / been coached at any level? Just bewildered at the reactions today.

My guy @CoachMattRhule & i created the “LOAF” policy 30 years ago.
The idea was simple: if we wanted to be the hardest-playing defense in college football, we needed a way to actually measure effort.
Bad stance. Changing speeds. Staying on the ground. Taking the easy path. Not finishing to the BALL. All LOAFs.
Three decades later, I pulled up the Nebraska tape to see if it’s still alive and well. 👀🏈

If your son wants to play college FB but thinks his HS coaches are too hard on him, he probably doesn’t need to pursue college ball. It’s an entirely different level of urgency and intensity. Being coached hard isn’t for everyone and that’s ok.

High school is the last time in your entire life where you will have the opportunity to be a kid and enjoy it all.
Play all the sports. Any and every one of them you can.
It’s the last time you’ll get the chance AND you’ll be a better athlete for it.

"Sorry @ReggieBush, we can't offer you. You play in the fake wing T offense. We have to instead offer the kid that runs a 4.8 because he plays in the spread. A real offense"
