In my opinion, High School Basketball rules need to change if you want to see more kids stay home and not go prep. 1) The best players need more gym access with unlimited contact days. 2) The rule where HS Coaches can’t coach their players in AAU needs to be abolished.

Very insightful scene from Hard Knocks. Mike Macdonald says he had imposter syndrome when he first became the Seahawks HC. He called games not to lose them as sort of a “hedge”. I’ve always suspected this with new head coaches but nice to see a top HC admit it.
