I feel like my timeline needs a @Valkyrae and @valkyries crossover as Rae in in peak GTA mode and the Valkyries are in playoffs.
When will @BasketballAus change to @PlayHQSports not being able to get a live score update or stars for u16 nationals is terrible in 2026. GameDay is terrible move on let alone having to pay to watch the games live. Need better access for future stars to watch it.
Pay $$ for live streams of NJJ @Basketball_Vic I would expect grand final to be watchable not constant freezing and cut offs. Love you are streaming more games but please make sure the systems works before charging people
Watching 4 teams spending 20m on teaching press break when they could be learning actual decision making skills is a shame. #banthepress
Watching @AndrewGaze10 coach is a full 40m of looking like he is saying turn it up to the refs. @FOXFOOTY
As a youth coach, I am keen to learn more about what things to focus on what age group, what should be the focus at age 8 vs age 12. And also interested in sequence or timing of shot as I have a lot of 12yo who miss short or long because of inconsistent power.
Basketball Coaches:
I work as a shooting coach in the NBA, run youth shooting clinics, conduct peer-reviewed research on practice design and bio-mechanics of shooting.
How can I use my experience to help you get better? What kind of help do you need?
I want to hear from you!
Please RT so I can hear what kind of help more people want! Thanks!!
Maybe an interesting topic for a pod @TalkingSplit to look at the new Luka report showing the difference between US and Europe Youth basketball. lukadoncicfoundation.org/iyb…
I hope I see Josh King and @SMitch_72 down at Ringwood to look at Glover’s new team mate Tom Carroll. A springy 6’10 athletic 3&D local talent, genuinely think he could add something to SEM for cheap.
I love the direction of the @WNBA but how can I justify spening $318 for a hoodie for my 8 year old basketball obsessed daughter? Can we get some more reasonably priced merch? #WNBADraft #WNBADraft2025
Listening to @kirkgoldsberry on @BillSimmons and thought Kirk was about to give the Jeff Daniels newsroom speech when talking about America not the #1 country for MVPs anymore. BTW love that Kirk is back in the Ringer space. Can we Kirk and @ZachLowe_NBA pod for us nerds.
Having watched a lot of the u14 club champs and also some other recent high level comps, I don’t like the trend of huddling during the first free throw and then coming back in for second one. Game has enough delays, enough time while ref making a call to huddle up.
The grading season will be upon us soon @TalkingSplit, any drills and links to good press break options for a bottom age u14 boys team? I was just going to teach have someone always flash to side, middle, back and focus on making quick pass and using fakes to drag D certain way?
@BillSimmons @ringer @ryenarussillo @KevinOConnorNBA off season nba idea. I was reading the points system to get in to LPGA HoF based on points for majors, reg season wins,PotY, scoring titles. Was wondering what would be a good nba criteria and then who would be in or not.
Relistening to @TalkingSplit and the Doc/co-ord ep stood out, made me realize our vjbl club lacked this, as a parent only this season to a first time rep athlete, never once saw the co-ord at a training or a game. now see why you don’t pay your nbl1 coach to be DoC as well.
need more shooting in Boomers in future but hard to pick CG or DJ.
a lot of tall slash and cut guards, just hope we find enough scoring..maybe it is McVeigh time!!
PG: Giddey | Mills
SG: Exum/Daniels
SF: green/Thybulle/McVeigh
PF: White/Cooks

Just rewatched the u14 GF at the national junior classic from long weekend. Casey is a great team, but I would question use of zone was being monitored. As their tall athletic big spent a lot of time guarding the ring with no real care for a m2m match up.
After a weekend of 20 games of u12 bball at edjbt I think @BasketballAus @Basketball_Vic need to #banthepress. as bad as a zone, kids are learning where to stand in a press not how to defend 1:1 and kids aren't strong enough to pass through it. not developing kids #talkingsplit
Maybe @callofduty @RavenSoftware could spend less time on making 40,00 gun attachments everyone has to level up and instead fix some core glitches and bugs in the game. Watched @timthetatman @DrDisrespect stream and some ridiculous glitches and bugs that aren’t fixed in weeks.
Anyone else worried Giddey is turning in to another tall Aussie PG who can't shoot and won't drive/get to FT line? Goes to show focus for BV here in Vic needs to be on shooting with our juinors as much as we can, as it opens up so much else. #NBA #ThunderUp #talkingsplit
