To get better at running, you have to run a lot.
To be a better writer, you've got to sit down and write, even when you don't want to.
If you want to get better at just about anything, you've got to do the work in the domain you care about.
You can't hack your way to excellence

4x400m squad of Kate Sullivan, Riley Power, Sydney Metivier and Nicole Gangi run the fastest girls time in @Tanner_Track history, finishing in 2nd place with an amazing time of 3:57.03. #TannerPride

Do yourself a favor. Watch this. I have about 14 times already and it’s barely 8 AM. Excellent stuff.
Junior Sinead Butler runs 5:00.39 at the Weston Twilight Invitational to become the fastest female miler in Woburn High School history. Wow. #TannerPride
Awesome run by @Tanner_Track alum Joe Mahon, qualifying for the Patriot League finals in the 1500m with a time of 3:50.86 (roughly a 4:08 mile)! #TannerPride
Awesome break from the norm to visit Holy Cross. Watching two @Tanner_Track alum run tremendous times in the steeplechase for @HCrossTFXC and having my son meet my mentor and coach is a win on any day (Marty was tired). #TannerPride #GoCrossGo

I am extremely humbled to have received this honor from the @MSTCA1. However it is far more of a reflection of the hard work and dedication of the ladies of @Tanner_Track than it is of anything I do. Proud to be their coach.

Todays @Tanner_Track bus for the @MIAA033 D2 State Championship will depart Woburn High School at 2:00pm, not 1:30pm, as originally scheduled. Please spread the word.

The @Tanner_Track girls tie for 1st with an incredibly talented and well-prepared @MinutemenXCTF squad with 87 points at the @Ml12Athletics Indoor Track Championship Meet. Full recap to follow.
The mile relay team of Finn, Anderson, Power & Buback ran a time of 4:10.10 to win, but needed help if the Tanners could claim at least a share of the title. Lexington could finish no higher than 4th, but that’s what happened, sealing the tie between two excellent programs.
All in all, one of the most exciting, frustrating & entertaining meets I’ve ever been a part of. It was the epitome of the sport. I’m lucky & proud to coach the kids I do, have the colleagues I have -both in Woburn & out- & to be a part of something so special as #TannerPride
