NEW: American Nathan Martin wins the closest Los Angeles Marathon in race history, beating Kenya’s Michael Kimani Kamau by just 00.01 seconds.
Martin was seen chasing down Kamau at the end of the race.
“I made an actual move five miles out… when I saw no one else was picking up the pace. I decided I needed to push,” the 36-year-old said.
“At a mile and a half to go, I could see the leader and with 800 meters to go, I was thinking, ‘I’m catching him.’”
Martin finished the race with a time of 2 hours, 11 minutes, 16.50 seconds.

Tom Izzo said, "You play real good, you start. You don't play as good, you work your way back in."
"That's the American way except America has gotten soft."
You don't get what you want, you get what you earn.
It starts with hard work.

John Wooden didn’t just coach basketball.
He coached life.
These 7 rules are timeless.
Simple. Powerful. True.
Live them. Teach them. Share them.

Bill Belicheck is a no doubt a legendary NFL head coach with 6 Super Bowl titles…but coaching college football today is a big challenge that is vastly different than the NFL. Hope @UNCFootball & Coach Belicheck can figure it out. #70newplayers #Mighttaketime

Legacy isn’t what you leave behind—it’s how you make people feel while you’re here.
Tough to watch the last few minutes & OT if you are a @okcthunder fan. SGA is not MVP worthy after how poorly he played down the stretch. Big props to @nuggets & Coach David Adelman for a grind it out win.

"You can’t be a great competitor unless you overcome adversity. That's mental."
The best aren't fearless - they just keep showing up.
They' choose toughness, persistence, and grit.
Watching the Lakers lose at home & get eliminated by the T-Wolves & seeing Luka get exposed by Julius Randle, & Rudy Gobert dominating inside, validates why the Mavs traded Luka. With Anthony Davis the Lakers beat the T-Wolves in this series.
