They got it by dividing 104 miscarriages by just 127 completed pregnancies—while hundreds of ongoing pregnancies were conveniently left out of the denominator. The NEJM later clarified that the preliminary data couldn't even provide a valid denominator for calculating miscarriage risk. Since then, studies involving well over a million pregnancies have found no increased miscarriage risk from COVID vaccination. If the shots actually caused an 82% miscarriage rate, it wouldn't require creative math and cherry-picked denominators to find it.
