I usually don’t comment on what @RGIII says but you aren’t just going to disparage Stanford with outright lies. Stanford has never paid any players under the table and had no need to. Not sure what your issue is but the clout chasing with made up stories need to end.
“I know for a fact that the SEC was paying the most under the table.” — @RGIII says players were getting paid in college long before NIL 👀

Richard Sherman's Statement is False. Stanford did violate NCAA rules by giving a player $3k for a bike loan, free car, meals, and a vacation home before NIL was legal in 2016.

Stanford Football mourns the loss of Stanford Athletics Hall of Famer John Brodie.
A consensus All-American in 1956, Brodie quarterbacked the Cardinal from 1954-56, setting the program record for career passing yards. He was selected in the first round of the 1956 NFL Draft by the San Francisco 49ers and went on to become a star in the NFL over his 17 seasons, becoming the league's MVP in 1970 - Stanford's first to earn the honor.
A member of the Stanford Athletics Hall of Fame, Brodie also played on the men's golf team at Stanford and later won a title on the Senior PGA Tour in 1991. He is a member of the San Francisco 49ers Hall of Fame, the National Football Foundation's College Football Hall of Fame, and his No. 12 is retired by the 49ers.
Our thoughts are with his family and all those impacted by his leadership and lasting legacy.
