Got to the arena at 2PM and was in the ring til doors opened practicing.
I haven’t performed the Black Arrow for 8 years
Something told me on this night I could make the jump.
I threw my heart out in front of me and Ben caught it.
Thank you Pac 💚

2026 Tennessee running “Water” 🌊
✔️ Single WR runs the Post
✔️ IWR runs the Deep Cross
✔️ OWR runs the Dig
📝 QB has a top-down read, looking from Post to Deep Cross based on the reaction of the Safety

San Jose St running Switch from a stack alignment. I love how the slot follows the wideout at first then widens to his landmark. This gets the DB lost and creates more space on the vertical. Finding creative ways in stack formations to run your base offense can be beneficial.

Love Cutter here from San Jose State out of empty. Great route by the wideout as he clears the corner. Love this play bc it looks a lot like Switch to the defense. If they overload it then it looks like Replace on the backside. Good answers and tough to cover everyone.

Mike Leach intentionally created HUGE holes in his offensive line.
His linemen would align with unusually wide splits.
It looked dangerous.
There was a method to it. ⬇️

Great job by Idaho St here on Duck (Dig + Under). QB quickly gets off the frontside concept to find the under on Duck. The Under can get a lot of mileage on an easy completion. Especially when backers are dropping like they are here.

Norway's youth sports model is super unique:
• No scorekeeping until age 13
• Participation trophies for everyone
• No travel teams or national championships
• No online publishing of scores or athlete rankings
• Parents typically spend less than $1,000 per child per year
The result?
A 93% participation rate — 40 points higher than the U.S. — and more Winter Olympic medals than any other country in history, despite Norway having a population comparable to the Philadelphia metro area (5.6 million).
And it's not just winter sports...
Norway now produces some of the world’s best summer sport athletes, including Erling Haaland (soccer), Casper Ruud (tennis), Viktor Hovland (golf), and Jakob Ingebrigtsen (track and field).
So if you want to learn more about how Norway's youth sports system actually works (and what other countries can learn from it), here's an essay I recently wrote during the Winter Olympics that breaks it all down.

I’ve heard people say “well we don’t have an open system in basketball and we’re still best in the world.”
Guys, in a little over 30 years foreign players went from almost no nba players and getting ran off court with our best to:
-8 straight foreign MVPs
-since 2021 first team all nba has been 21/30 foreign spots
-college bball recruiting has shifted to be a race for the best 20 year old euro players
If you don’t think their approach to development on all fronts including club structure and professional league structure impacts this you’re crazy.
