Interesting fact: A high school football game has 48 minutes on the clock.
But a study found the average play lasts just 5.6 seconds. At 130 plays, thatâs roughly 12 minutes of actual action between BOTH teams.
Months in the weight room. Summer heat. Film. Practice. All for opportunities measured in literal seconds.
And you donât know which 5.6 seconds will decide the game.
That backside block you took off? The pursuit you cut short because somebody else would get him?
That mightâve been it.

Like this site! Pretty informative
Hey Mike, we have an alternative. đ
Our NJ playoff standings are live at sidelinesnj.com, and we count those out-of-state residuals, like Phillipsburg's 3 PA games and Camden Eastside vs. Simon Gratz.
We're still fine-tuning things, but we like where we are.
Live scores on our ticker Thursday through Saturday too.
Feedback is always welcome.

High school athletes: these ARE the good old days.
The team dinners.
The early mornings.
The bus rides.
The big wins.
The tough losses.
One day, youâll wish you could get one of these days back. Donât wait until itâs over to appreciate it.
Soak it in now.

Professional athletes have a different approach to athletics. I guess we are just wired different. Itâs about playing hard all the time and being prepared. Results donât matter itâs the processâŚ. The positive results come because of the process.

#NFL legend Greg Olsen told his MIDDLE SCHOOL players he will BENCH anyone who doesnât block and give maximum effort.

People will laugh and say nobody cares, but Miami has NFL players all over that field at every position. Florida A&M was down 70 and still never quit they kept playing hard and earned that touchdown. Iâm genuinely so happy for those kids. What a moment theyâll never forget.

You guys have no idea how much it would help your game to just watch football. Thereâs games on every night, turn one on and watch how those guys play your position
