The slow chains want to drag us down. They want to stop the winning. But we do not allow that. We are building the Crypto Capital of the World right here in the United States. Solana leads the charge. It is the next giant step after the GENIUS ACT and the CLARITY ACT. Huge industry. Powerful industry. If we let the losers hold it back China takes it. We do not let China take it. We keep it. We win with it. Solana is WINNING BIGLY. The American people get the best. Solana IS the best. Nobody does blockchain better than Solana. Nobody. Thank you!
Solana would be by far the biggest assymetric winner of the clarity bill passing. The total market cap of US equities is over 50T dollars, 20x larger than the entire crypto market cap. SEC chairman Paul Atkins has expressed his desire to move ALL of that on chain. So where is that going to go?
This is an opportunity to unify a deeply fragmented securities infrastructure that was built up in pieces over the last 100 years.
Securities should be issued, traded, and settled on the same venue.
Which venue is robust and Lindy enough for issuance, fast enough for trading and scalable enough for settlement?
There is only one answer: Solana.

"i use solana"
my ears PERKED up
i played it cool. i said "oh nice, what protocols are you on"
she said "i have some SOL on Kraken"
and that's where a normal person would have said "wow that's really cool" and gotten her number
but i am not a normal person
my brain immediately went into autopilot and i said "on Kraken? do you at least self-custody?"
she looked confused
i kept going
"do you have a wallet? do you stake? what's your DeFi allocation. are you actually onchain or are you just sitting on a CEX watching candles"
she said "i bought SOL and i check the price sometimes"
and i said "so you don't actually use solana"
the vibe was GONE
her friend pulled her away. she didn't look back.
i was standing there alone at a wedding holding a drink i wasn't even sipping doing MENTAL MATH on whether someone who's never left a CEX can even call themselves a solana user
my friend walked over and said "bro she was into you what happened"
i said "she holds SOL on a CEX"
he said "so?"
SO???
i would rather DIE alone than let a CEX-only price-checker who's never opened Phantom think we're in the same ecosystem
she had a pretty face but a DISGUSTING onchain history because there IS no onchain history and i simply cannot overlook that

Let’s call it: Western Union issuing their stablecoin on Solana shows that major payments incumbents are saying “we need a chain that isn’t owned by a single BigTechCo; we need neutral rails, scale, and trust.” That chain is Solana. The corporate chains may be trying to throw their weight around, but the major payments companies are picking the open, neutral chain.
PayPal, Fiserv and now Western Union all chose Solana as the chain for their stablecoin. Between them, Solana will be the future rails that will service:
400 MM global consumers
10,000 banks
400,000 retail on/off ramp locations
40 MM merchants
And we’re less than a year into the start of this fintech revolution.

I wanted to say that I've officially deployed the $SOLCAT Diamond Hands Program, and locked my ~5% for 6 months as promised!
The repo is a full(ish) end-to-end product that I hope people use as a jumping off point to learn about Solana development!
Some neat features:
- The program has been deployed to `CATvuZTNuyeBkoo5Tpeqtxcn51NDLNMExWPZ5vzQxkEg`, AND it has been marked immutable, so not even I can change the program now! So barring bugs, there is no chance anyone can rug the program!
- The program was created with pinocchio, so it has no external dependancies
- It has a full sdk/cli/integration tests that is Solana 3.0.0 compliant
- Annotated code to help people learn why I made certain decisions and patterns I've learned over the last 4 years of Solana development
- A README that will walk you though deploying and testing this program yourself + a challenge for those brave enough!
- An admittedly shitty vibe-coded frontend, its janky and kinda ugly, but it does follow safe server/client patterns to protect sensitive RPC urls
