During yesterday’s Board Learning Walks, we visited all EIGHT campuses across Argyle ISD! While at Argyle High School, Mrs. Lumsden took us through several social studies classrooms, and I left with a special appreciation for something worth recognizing! National Coaches Day was earlier this week, and while we often celebrate the impact coaches have on the field or court, in Argyle ISD, their impact extends far beyond athletics! Visiting the classrooms of Coach Lundy, Coach Hunt, and Coach Brazil was a powerful reminder that their commitment to teaching is just as evident as their commitment to coaching. We witnessed engaged students, meaningful instruction, and high levels of learning! These coaches are not just developing athletes. They are educators first, who take tremendous pride in what happens in their classrooms every single day! THANK YOU to ALL of our coaches who demonstrate Rigor, build Relationships, and deliver Results both in the classroom AND in their sports! Your impact goes far beyond the scoreboard, and our students are better because of it! #NationalCoachesDay #ArgyleISD #TogetherWeSoar @toddrodgers13 @CoachCalebHunt @CoachBrazil2nd @Coach_Lundy @argylegridiron
