ICE shatter window with baby in car seat—violently detain both mom & dad.
It was the wrong guy.
Agents even had photo of the suspect—that clearly didn't match.
They took him anyway.
"Look! He is absolutely not the man in that photo!" mom cries.
"I'm not the one!" dad pleads. "I didn’t commit a robbery!"
Agents did handcuff and detain the mother at the scene—but eventually released her to take their child.
The family has a pending asylum case and has no idea why ICE locked up the father and separated the family.
Incident occurred near the intersection of 56th Street and Racine Avenue in Chicago, Illinois.

named Popcorn #261139 She came into the shelter on Sept 15th, and all the shelter has said about her was “she was nervous on intake, but is getting better now. She just needs more socialization and time.”
She is located at the very deadly, Apple Valley Municipal Animal Shelter , in Apple Valley, CA.
Please go and Adopt Popcorn or offer to Adopt or Foster her so that a Rescue can pull her . Fostering is free if you’re in Southern California through a rescue..
Please consider adopting from out of state🇺🇸 It’s possible through a Rescue . Adopter pays for Transport .

So, what should we take home from #IMS2026 in Glasgow?
This meeting illustrates a remarkable convergence. Basic science is revealing new vulnerabilities. Translational research is teaching us how to recognize pts with durable disease control. And clinical trials are showing that we can achieve unprecedented depth of response while beginning to ask a very different question: not only how much treatment can we give, but how intelligently can we use it, and when can we safely stop?
The word “CURE” was heard repeatedly. We should, of course, use that word carefully. In some settings, cure remains a statistical construct based on modeling. In others, it is beginning to emerge clinically as years of treatment-free survival in patients with sustained, deep MRD negativity.
But what is no longer in doubt is that the ambition has changed.
We are no longer discussing only how to prolong survival.
We are beginning to discuss how to achieve extremely durable disease control, and perhaps, for an increasing number of them, how to cure myeloma.
