Today against North Texas, @TXSTATEFOOTBALL became the only NFL/FBS/FCS team this century to have a game in which:
One player threw 4+ TDs (Brad Jackson)
Another ran for 3+ TDs (Davian Jackson)
And another ran for 210+ yards (Torrance Burgess Jr.)

Someone once said we only win because we have the best players…
We may not be able to coach them very well, but we sure know how to recruit & develop them!🤣
Congrats to our 23rd & 24th All-American in 14 years!🤯

What an incredible day to be at LSU.
Today wasn’t just about introducing a coach, it was about alignment. A shared belief in who we are and where we’re going.
This is what it looks like when a university and its athletics program come together with one mission: to build teams that win.

Our guys showed out all week - from community service to high flying, high scoring entertainment on the court. No group I’d rather go down with than these guys.
@LSU_Shreveport should be proud. Shreveport/Bossier should be proud. This coach is heartbroken, but PROUD!

Hours before the biggest home game in @LSUSMBB history, coach Kyle Blankenship was brought to tears as he envisioned possibilities the day held. Incredibly, the roller-coaster ended as he'd pictured--with overjoyed kids in his arms. Via @sbcadvocate

Just a remarkable story that Head Baseball Coach @bneffendorf and staff and this incredible group of players pulled off. @LSUSathletics was a start up program that the late great Doug Robinson began years ago. It was his fund raising from many alumni that made certain their contributions were for LSUS Athletics that spearheaded all their @NAIA programs. Doug Passed away 18 months ago, but I guarantee ya he’s smiling in heaven today. @CoachBlank on the 🏀side bas built a regular National contender! No matter the size and scope of the program PERFECTION must be appreciated!
“RRAC Coach of the Year will be determined after the RRAC tournament.” 🤣🤣🤣
Spoiler alert: It’s @bneffendorf
Josh Gibson of @lsus_athletics was named RRAC Baseball Player of the Year and first-team all-conference. Complete list: redriverconference.com/sport…
