Buying in applies to everyone. The XC side of Katy intimidated me to death (like the district sprints jumps & hurdles comp)Began building slowly after back surgery. Ran this at the Region 3 Course last night. My fav coaching list USED to be: hurdle-sprint-Triple-XC…but now…?

We met a 6yo kid on vacation that ran 5ks. Dexter kept asking about running through it and ended up asking if he could start running a bit too. So far i hadn’t pushed/forced him into anything training related …
3/3 but today was tough. I knew it was coming because running is hard! But through the struggle at the park…he did his thing and ran his mile PR. After five weeks of hard work at 7yo Dex can run a full sessions of 4x400’s around 2mins on short rest and he can run a 9:47 mile.
