In the process of fixing the station plot imagery from Puerto Rico and Guam, we found a bug in our image generation software that caused blank images at times with other states. That has been fixed as well. Also, Iowa Mesonet imagery was restored; more parameters will plot soon.

On another note: "Hurricane Hunter" aircraft just dropsonde measured an 889 MB surface pressure with Polo in the eastern Pacific. Our floaters have you covered....this thing is a doggone buzzsaw: weather.cod.edu/satrad/?parm…

Remember when I said the text pages were fixed? Never say never. Guam RAW, decoded and plotted METARs are fixed; Puerto Rico METAR plots are fixed. They have never worked on our site before...now they are. -Gilbert

The localized plots to images in our text pages have been fixed, and we added a new one in Illinois, one that shows METARs for the Chicago metropolitan area. Boy, there was a lot needed fixing here with a powerwasher! -Gilbert

On our text pages: 1. We fixed the processing of Avalanche Guidance and Spot Forecast Request products 2. We fixed a timestamp issue when a statement was issued for two different time zones. These will be self-correcting by tomorrow for most products. Thank you! -Gilbert

I'm working today because I was sick yesterday, but I fixed more text page issues. If you see any bugs with them, please let me know! Severe weather statements, product ID's, and date and time stamps should work properly from here on out. -Gilbert

MRMS 1 hour QPE has been fixed, and it also caused our radar and text server to occasionally crash over the past several months due to multiple memory leak bugs. It's all fixed now. Have a great weekend! -Gilbert

I am very pleased to announce that I found a source for full-disk GOES-West imagery that is manageable in size, and GOES-West hemispheric images have returned to our website as of 16:50Z. Thanks to SSEC at the U-W Madison, WI and UNIDATA for their assistance with this! -Gilbert

I pushed a fix today when GOES-West would go into Super Rapid Scan Operations (SRSO, images every 30 seconds) mode, it would break our GOES-West floater animation. It should work as intended now. -Gilbert
