Problem is hes not fighting off any bodies hes just standing there. Very Zeke Nnaji-esque rebounding style hes adopted where if the ball doesnt bounce directly to him on defense then he just acts like it wasnt meant for him

I asked Adelman about Jokić’s less than stellar start on the defensive glass. He diagnosed it as a “team thing,” saying it’s on other guys to come help when he’s fending off multiple bodies. The defensive rebounding wasn’t good enough tonight he said. That will be discussed

Yeaahhhhhhh i gotta vehemently disagree on Hopkins. His defensive effort is great his defense itself has not been. Especially off ball. Offensively he’s in the right spots but starting him with CB is dumb cause hes another non shooter

Hopkins and Brazile have played as well as anyone could’ve hoped throughout the first two games. Notable boost of athleticism on the defensive end and on the glass. Any offense they can provide is a bonus
