After the recent game and training along with dry hot weather it’s best to stay off pitches. However today we cleaned the MKM stadium. Leaving the HoC a bit longer to try and retain moisture before taking it down for the next game.

What a man

Lines down at the MKM stadium, another trim and it’s all set for the first preseason game. Low pressure hose needed to top up the moisture levels but it’s looking good for a 6 week turnaround

Busy couple of days at the MKM stadium. With 10 days until the first match it’s time to start lowering the height of cut.

Some great pictures taken yesterday at Downfield for the last home game. Now the 6 week turnaround begins, staring today with a hard verti cut, rake and deep slit.

Busy day spraying pitches. Started at St Andrews Utd with a spring feed of Revive then up to Downfield JFC for an application of herbicide then line marking just before the rain. Message if you’re looking to price fert or herbicide applications.

With such a quick turnaround between Saturday and Wednesday game at Downfield JFC the quadraplay is an essential bit of kit. Thanks to all clubs who have booked in for a liquid feed, please message if you want a spring boost to your pitch.

Busy day at Downfield FC. Getting the pitch deep slit as we finally have dry day! Normally best to avoid heavy machines in these conditions but the grass has time to recover. Also trialling some new products, stay tuned for results!
