馃嚚馃嚦 I've been collecting kits for 20 years, and this might just be the highlight.
As part of my trip to Guangzhou, I was invited to visit Chinese brand UCAN, one of my favourite kit suppliers, to film an ad! 馃ゲ
Let's check out their work, explore the office & meet the team馃У
It ended 3-2 to Port, and I have to give credit to both set of fans and Port as a club - this was a match with a fantastic ambiance. Really wish I had had more time to wander the Sandpit.
Such a pleasure to have had the chance to visit 馃檹
Two goals in two minutes for Port, and we've a tussle in front of the sold out away stand.
In Norwich garb today but I was smart enough to not go yellow/green given Pattani's colours. Not that it'd be a problem given Thai football's hospitality.
Getting a little sick of this. Pattani, who are a man down by now, equalize in the 53rd minute to steer the match towards potentially ANOTHER draw.
Six minutes in and we've got our first goal of the night with Port opening the score. By far the loudest and rowdiest crowd here compared to the other matches I've visited.
Coming to you live from PAT Stadium as I'm at the fourth and final match of my stay here in Thailand. Port face Pattani tonight, and I'd love to see anything but ANOTHER draw 馃檹
It ends all square. Great match experience, poor result. Can't help but feel that BG did not field a full strength first eleven.
Onto Port tomorrow!
Happy days for the Warren Stand (tagline 'We Are The Carrot') as Patrik Gustavsson - one of my personal FM heroes - gets the equalizer for BG Pathum.
And as I type this, Ayutthaya gets a red card! BG's game to take now!
An uneventful first half draws to a close with the Ayothaya Warriors 0-1 up. I splurged a little, spending 1,290 Baht on a BG Pathum shirt with nameset. A little treat since I'm in holiday mode.
Ayutthaya bag themselves the first goal of the night via a cleanly placed header from Willen. Against the run of play, as BG have had the better chances so far. Good atmosphere being created by both sets of fans behind the goals.
It's time for more Thai football, I'm at BG Stadium on the outskirts of Bangkok for BG Pathum versus Ayutthaya United for my first taste of the Thai top flight.
I have sadly not gotten the QR code for the fried insect stall to work.
It ends 2-2 following a cheap free kick in added time for Angthong. Things got spicy and not just on the pitch - local aunty had to be restrained by the club officials 馃槼
Now it's time for me to look forward to visiting BG Pathum and Port next weekend 馃
About 15 minutes to go and KBU are up 2-1 still, with the pitch doing neither team any favours.
Shirts (good 'ol Grand Sport) are on sale for 650 THB / 14,67 GBP which is much more sensible than Bangkok FC's pricing.
Greetings from 'Estadio Kasem' (yes, really), where Kasem Bundit University FC are facing Angthong FC. The home team's just gone up 2-0 at the stroke of half-time on possibly the most waterlogged pitch I've seen IRL.
It ended all square, albeit with BKKFC a man down. Very impressed with the atmosphere the 876 fans managed to drum up.
Onto Kasem Bundit Uni vs Angthong tomorrow 馃
Pretty bloodless so far but Bangkok with the better chances so far. Really happy to have finally gotten my hands on a shirt too, 799 Baht which I consider pricey for T3.
I appear to have wandered into Thailand, and find myself at Bang Mod Stadium for Bangkok FC's Thai League 3 match versus Thaplueng! Great atmosphere here with small but passionate support!
It ends 6-0 in what was still a delightfully entertaining game of football. I feel very privileged to have been able to attend. For tourists, catching a match like this in Malaysia is very much worth the effort, even at A1 level 馃
Quick- fire double from Armed Forces to make it 5-0. I had to re-write this tweet, it's going *that* quick. Bunga Raya deserve to forcedly walk back to Port Dickson at this rate.
The thunderstorm rolled past without incident or delay - no Singaporean LWS here - and Armed Forces are 2-0 up against a very tepid Bunga Raya. Loving the analog scoreboard.
Grateful for the rain cooling things down for the 100 or so non-paying spectators - entry is free.
